We have developed this list of helpful hints to make the most of your support:

 

Tree Donors - 

• • All tree donations are just that, donations.  All items placed on the tree will be part of the raffle.

  • Typically tree stands, tree skirts and associated decorations around the base of the tree are included in the donation.  If for some reason there is a specific item that you do not want included in the donation you need to make that clear to our committee upfront so that we can include it in the raffle information.

  • Tree value guidelines are as follows:

    • Tree Donor - Standard 6’ or taller - $750 value 

    • Tree Donor - Mini Tree 4-6’ - $400 value

    • Tree Donor - Table Top 2-4’ - $200 value 

    • Alternative Ideas - Use your imagination for a non-tree Christmas related item.  Wreaths, Centerpieces and Quilt Squares are some of the possibilities.  Items should be non-perishable and offer a value of $100 or more.

    • For all of the tree and alternative categories, value is considered the equivalent cost to purchase, decorate and present your tree/alternative.  This allows for items you may already own to use in your display.

 

• Trees should have a tree stand, tree skirt, topper and lights

• Loose glitter, confetti and artificial snow are not allowed

• All ornaments, decorations or items of value should be wired to, zip tied or secured onto your tree.  Just placing items on the tree puts them at risk of being broken when the tree is wrapped for delivery.  Trees will not be broken down prior to pick up.  They will be shrink-wrapped as is.

• For gift certificates, place a copy of the gift certificate on the tree.  The actual certificate should remain in your possession until a winner is identified.

• The Festival team can help obtain a host location for your tree if required.  Please let us know in advance if you will not be hosting the tree yourself.

• Associated packaging and boxes do not need to be maintained after you have finished decorating your tree

• Keep in mind that trees may be viewed from all sides

• We ask that donation items be placed in a prominent location for the duration of the raffle dates.  Please also include our provided signage and QR code with the raffle information.

 

Gift Cards -

• We ask that gift cards should have an expiration date at least 6 months after the tree raffle in December
